Occupational Safety Card Online – Complete the Course Remotely

The webinar course, just like the classroom course, provides official eligibility to receive the Occupational Safety Card issued by the Occupational Safety Center (Työturvallisuuskeskus).

If your Occupational Safety Card is still valid, you can renew it through a 4-hour refresher course.

The webinar course fee includes PDF-format learning materials and a mobile card.

The mobile card will be available the day after successfully completing the course. 

The Occupational Safety Card is valid for 5 years.

Registration for the Online Course

1. Select a suitable date from the calendar.
2. Choose the course “Occupational Safety Card Webinar” and fill in the participants' information. You can add multiple participants at once if needed.
3. Click “Add to Cart” to register participants and proceed to the payment page. Select your payment method on the payment page.

To participate in the course, you will need internet access and a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone.

Course Format

The Occupational Safety Course is conducted as a webinar with an instructor. The course lasts 7 hours plus exam.

Short breaks and a lunch break are scheduled during the day.

You will receive the participation link via email the day before the course begins. The course takes place on the Google Meet platform, which does not require downloading – you can join through your browser.

Supported browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. We recommend using the latest browser version.

If using a tablet or smartphone, you will need the Google Meet app, which can be downloaded for free from the app store.

• Understanding the principles of safe and health-friendly work practices
• Recognizing the vital role of individuals in ensuring workplace safety

At the end of the day, an exam will be conducted in a test format.

Starting from January 15, 2025, plastic occupational safety cards will be discontinued. Instead, the Occupational Safety Center (Työturvallisuuskeskus) has launched an electronic search system, allowing anyone, such as the cardholder, employer, or contractor, to verify the details of a valid occupational safety card.

Through the card search system, information about the card can be found by providing the cardholder's name and date of birth. Viewing the data requires strong authentication.
