Occupational Safety Card - Työturvallisuuskortti

The Occupational Safety Map has been developed with the aim of improving occupational safety in general workplaces.

The purpose of obtaining an occupational safety card is for:

To know the principles of occupational safety and health of a common workplace
To be able to identify the risk and stress factors of work
To understand the principles of safe and healthy working
To understand the importance of human operations for occupational safety

To receive a card approved by the Finnish Occupational Safety Center, you must complete a one-day course and pass a written exam.

The card is valid for five years.

Occupational Safety Card webinar, learning process

The webinar for the Työturvallisuuskortti green card follows the same format as the classroom session. The webinar lasts 8+ hours or the equivalent of one working day.

To participate in the webinar, you need to have a computer (or laptop) with internet access, a webcam, and speakers or headphones.

Each listener requires a separate device.

After registration:

Confirmation will be sent to your email address stating that you have registered for the training and paid for it.

One day before the start of training, an invitation to the webinar will be sent to your email address. Remember to check your spam folder.

During training:

10-15 minutes before the start of the training, enter the webinar using the link.

Check that you have your sound turned on and your webcam is working.

Prepare an identity document and be ready to show it to the instructor.

Upon graduation:

After training, you must take a test and you’ll receive your results the same day.

After successfully passing the test, you will receive a temporary certificate for the completion of your training in pdf format by e-mail.

The Työturvallisuuskortti card will be sent by mail to the address provided during registration within a month after the training.
