Occupational Safety Card Online Course - 4-Hour Refresher Course

Renewing the Occupational Safety Card online grants official certification for the Occupational Safety Card issued by the Occupational Safety Center (Työturvallisuuskeskus). This four-hour online refresher course also qualifies participants to receive the Occupational Safety Card.

You can participate in the four-hour refresher course only if your current card is valid.

If your card is no longer valid at the time of registration, please choose the one-day basic course.

Choose a suitable date from the calendar. Select the course date and proceed to fill in the participant details.

To participate, you need an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone equipped with a functioning camera and microphone.

Refresher Course Implementation Online

The training is conducted as a webinar led by an instructor and lasts 4 hours, followed by an exam.

Course materials and exam forms are available in Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and English.

The participation link will be sent via email no later than the day before the training.

Content of the Occupational Safety Refresher Course

• Safety and occupational protection principles on a shared worksite.
• Identifying hazardous and harmful factors in the workplace.
• Principles of safe and healthy working practices.
• The role of human actions in workplace safety.

The Occupational Safety Card is valid for five (5) years.

Starting from January 15, 2025, plastic occupational safety cards will be discontinued. Instead, the Occupational Safety Center (Työturvallisuuskeskus) has launched an electronic search system, allowing anyone, such as the cardholder, employer, or contractor, to verify the details of a valid occupational safety card.

Through the card search system, information about the card can be found by providing the cardholder's name and date of birth. Viewing the data requires strong authentication.  https://www.ttkorttihaku.fi/
